It has been awhile since my last post, so here is a brief overview of the past month or so:
In Kindergarten,
first, and second grade, we learned different weather phrases through various
activities, such as a song with hand motions, read-alouds, and different
in-class activities. We have just started learning about clothing. In third
grade, we just finished learning about clothing and have just started learning
about animals. Fourth grade just wrapped up our weather unit with a pamphlet
project. We have just begun learning rules regarding masculine and feminine
nouns. This is a concept that affects which form of an adjective to use when
speaking Spanish. Fifth grade reviewed numbers through 100, and learned about math terms. Next, we’ll be telling time. In 7th
grade, we’re wrapping up the term with a cumulative review of what we've learned- greetings, colors, numbers, days, months, nouns, and adjectives.
